From the age of 14 attending The City of London School I have been involved in the City. I have never lost this passion.

Work to ensure the success of Leadenhall Market. This is such an amazing place in the Ward but at the present the vacancy rate is too high. This not only has an effect on the existing retailers, but also the whole local environment. As a Chartered Surveyor in commercial property, I believe I am uniquely placed to revitalise what should be the heart of the Ward.​

Support the City's Climate Action Strategy to make our City as climate resilient as possible. Particularly clean air and as much green space as possible. I have recently completed a Sustainable Real Estate diploma at Cambridge University.

Ensure Langbourn is fully represented in the City of London Corporation working closely with the three Common Councillors.

Why am I standing to be your Alderman?
​
Most candidates in this election will be independent and I know it is hard to make a choice between the candidates. Putting it simply The City has given so much to me I now want to give something back.
I also believe I have the relevant skill sets to really make a difference and equally importantly, a real passion to be your representative.
I was educated in The City attending the City of London School and then City University. My first job was in Watling Street and my career has been almost exclusively in Square Mile presently working at international property consultants CBRE as an Executive Director.

I believe in the ethos of volunteering and spent over 20 years as an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve at HMS President. Whilst serving I created some life long friends as well as being introduced to my wife Sarah.
​
I was granted The Freedom of The City of London aged 21 and in 1988 became a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Wheelwrights. I am now the Master. I have decades of experience in the civic side of The City.

A proven ability to promote The City due to my international business experience as an Executive Director at global property consultants CBRE.
